Shlomo Dovrat, General Partner and Co-Founder, Carmel Ventures
Shlomo Dovrat has over 20 years of recognized leadership in the hi-tech entrepreneurial and investment scene. He co-founded Viola Partners and Carmel Ventures in 2000, and has served as CEO and Chairman for several companies with a successful global track record. Mr. Dovrat served as Chairman for ECI Telecom and led ECI's strategic turnaround from 2002-2007, leading to its acquisition for $1.2 billion. Prior to ECI, Mr. Dovrat founded Tecnomatix where he served as CEO and President from 1983 to 1995, and led the company's successful IPO in 1993. At the age of 24, Mr. Dovrat co-founded Oshap and led the company to its IPO a mere three years later. In July 1999, SunGard acquired Oshap for $220 million. In addition to his highly successful business career, Mr. Dovrat is actively involved in numerous educational and community outreach programs. He was appointed by the Israeli government to be the Chairman of the National Task Force for the Advancement of the Educational System. Mr. Dovrat is also a founding member of the Israel Venture Network, whose goal is to promote diverse educational projects throughout Israel. Mr. Dovrat was recently granted the Israeli Hi-Tech Award for his contribution to the community, and was named Honorary Fellow of the Interdisciplinary Center, Herzliya in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Israeli education.

Yoram Snir, Partner, Greylock Partners
Yoram Snir joined Greylock in 2005 after seven years at Cisco Systems. At his last position with Cisco, Mr. Snir led the corporate international business development team, responsible for its acquisitions, investments and strategic partnership efforts in Europe, Asia Pacific and Israel as well as in the global service provider technology space. Before Cisco, Mr. Snir was with ClassData, a company that developed and marketed software for policy-based provisioning of differentiated services over IP networks. The company was acquired by Cisco in May 1998. Prior to ClassData, Mr. Snir held several management positions with other companies. He is currently a member on the board of Celeno, Wanova, MySupermarket, Retalika, and WebCollage. He also represents Greylock on the board of Aeroscout. Mr. Snir served on the board for Bitband, Fiberxon (acquired by MRV), Topio (acquired by NetApp) and represented Cisco on the board of Actona (acquired by Cisco), Riverhead Networks (acquired by Cisco Systems) and Personeta. Mr. Snir holds an MBA from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University and B.Sc. Cum Laude in Computer Science from the Tel Aviv University.

Dan Avida, General Partner, Opus Capital
Dan Avida has 16 years of strong operational experience building successful companies and guiding them through to profitable outcomes. Prior to Opus Capital, Dan was President and CEO of Decru Inc., a pioneering storage security company that Dan co-founded in 2001. Decru was acquired for $272.5M by Network Appliance in 2005. In 1989, Dan was a founding member of Electronics for Imaging (NASDAQ: EFII), which received its only round of venture funding from Weiss, Peck & Greer Venture Partners, in 1992. Initially, Dan led the Fiery project - the cornerstone of EFI's success. He went on to be promoted several times, ultimately to Chairman and CEO. Under Dan's leadership, EFI experienced five years of dramatic, consecutive growth, placing the company on Business Week, Fortune and Forbes lists of fastest growing companies, and on the Nasdaq 100 index. Dan served as an officer in the Israel Defense Force during the years 1984-1989. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Technion, the Israel Institute of Technology, where he graduated summa cum laude.
